Yay! Mom is home from the hospital!

I called my dad when I left for lunch and he'd just brought her home! So apparently the tests they ran came out very positive. She'll be on antibiotics for a while, but I guess they're not concerned that there could be any serious danger.

Needless to say, I'm quite relieved.

Was it toxoplasmosis (cat scratch fever?) Some people are very sensitive to it, especially if they didn't grow up around cats.

My guess would be that that is what they were afraid it would turn in to. Apparently the antibiotics did their trick. I don't know if my mom grew up around cats, we usually have four or six around the house: two inside, and a variable number outside.

Dad said that aside from her hand hurting that she felt fine all weekend.

I'm VERY glad that she's better!
