My laptop is slowly inching its way to New Mexico!

I ordered it July 2, it shipped on the 11th from Shanghai! Apparently demand for the latest generation of 15" MacBook Pros has been huge: BTW, Chirssly, they're throwing in a $200 rebate if you buy and iPod, so you can get a 4gig Nano for free or a 30gig for $50 effectively. No idea yet if I'll get 10.5 when it ships, I'll ask the Apple geeks at the store tomorrow -- Russet and I are going to Santa Fe this weekend!

I think I still want to wait for Leopard, though that is getting more difficult. That may be more difficult if they start offering a discount on the new OS if you buy now though.

Why does it say Int'l from Indiana? They are sending it to NEW Mexico and not old Mexico, right?

Dunno. I figured that Alaska would be their international point. I'm guessing that they're transferring a big shipping container, sealed by customs in China, then unsealed in Indianapolis by customs agents.

Who knows.
