Wedding Landmine #1 Update

Mom stopped taking the med Sunday night. She was so bad Sunday that Dad had to practically carry her into the house after church in the morning. I spoke with her twice today and she's doing much better and she's confident that there will be no problem, I'm still a little paranoid and would still prefer to spend the extra money and line up a spare cake, but I don't think that's going to happen.
Russet talked to one of her doctor friends from college and described Mom's condition and medication, said friend is a GP who coincidentally has taken the same med as what was causing Mom's problem with dizziness, Hope has been on said med for over 15 years. She recommended an over-the-counter drug, basically non-drowsy Dramamine, to counter-affect the first med. I really hate the thought of doubling drugs to have the second one cancel side-effects of the first, but I guess sometimes that's necessary.
Hope, the GP friend, had to experiment over a considerable period of time to get the dosage correct in her case, hopefully that won't be required for Mom.
Thank you, everybody, for your thoughts and prayers. It looks like things will be OK, but I'll probably be on tenterhooks until I know she's on the plane Thursday AM. :-)
