MGM SUCKS!

When I was in Phoenix over Thanksgiving I bought a Pink Panther DVD collection. I was a happy camper, I saw the later Peter Sellers ones during their theatre run. So I'm happily watching along and I get to the end of the set (the final PP/Sellers movie SUCKED, I wish they'd never released it) and I realized that I hadn't seen a particular scene that I was looking forward to. It's the bit where there's a blind man and a monkey outside of a bank that's about to be robbed and there's a discussion about a license for the monkey.

It turns out that they didn't include The Return of the Pink Panther! So now I'm going to have to go buy a single movie to sit next to my nice box set (well, piled in the vicinity of my box set would be more accurate).

*sigh*

But how can you collect the Seller's Pink Panther movies and leave one out?! GRRRRR...

That bites! Fortunately I am in Phoenix right now and I found a used copy of Return of the Pink Panther last night.
