(OK, I really don't want Mine Sweeper to be made into a movie, but I thought the trailer was pretty good. I'd love to see Black Sheep as a movie, though!)

Black Sheep is a real movie. You can buy it on Amazon. You can also get it on Netflix.

I only know about this because it went around the spinning community; I haven't actually seen it.

It is the only movie I have ever stopped watching after only ten minutes or so. Worst. Dialogue. Ever. Tasteless. Not funny in the LEAST. But tastes differ.

I think it helps if you're from New Zealand or an Australian.

It's chock full of references and humour that the average citizen of both will pick up on and grok.

In terms of dialogue, of course its cheesy!
Its *meant* to be.
Its an atrocious film, and thats part of its charm. :)

take it with a few pinches of salt, realise that its both tipping its hat at, and putting the boot into budget films the world over, sit back and enjoy the schlock that is the ride. :)

I find nothing wrong with cheesy dialogue, it's BAD dialogue I snarl at :P No, I do get your point, but I honestly just didn't find it funny. I didn't laugh once and for the first time ever, I actually felt the clock ticking ("OMG I'm wasting my time on THIS?") and so I had to stop.

Apples and oranges, let's leave it at that :) I'm a huge fan of crazy comedy and parodies in general, but this one just didn't cut it for me.
