I've been thinking about getting one, and as it happens, they had one on the shelf when I was in Best Buy a few weeks ago. Maybe I should've pounced on it. One interesting thing that it can do (amongst the many interesting things that it can do) is that apparently you can use a Nintendo DS as a form of remote with it.

Yeah, you can use the DS to connect to the Wii, but currently I don't believe there is any extra functionality in doing so. I know eventually Nintendo plans on releasing a Wii channel that will allow you to connect to the DS and download things like game demos and stuff to the handheld, but it hasn't happened yet.

Personally, I think this is a much more interesting use for the Wii's capabilities.

No wonder we've had trouble finding them. Just have to get lucky, I suppose.

Anyway, there's also a neat DS trick going on at Safeco Field

The DS will let you catch stats, feeds, and order stadium food using the wireless available.
