A Singapore patent trollfirm has announced that they hold a patent on having a link on a clicked photo that pulls up another page.

This is not a joke, they've already sent out bills. There's no mention yet of this being challenged in court.

I think I need to upload my photo galleries, all of them have thumbnail pages that link to larger images.

Hopefully, that's as far as it will go, and the judges there will say "Uh, no. There's no way you can patent something obvious like this."

It has to go further than that as the patent is registered in multiple countries including the US. It'll have to be shut-down one country and challenge at a time.

And at the end, hopefully, after they've exhausted their coffers trying to fight this, they'll realize what a stupid idea it was in the first place.
