(rehashed from a reply that I did earlier today)

My WLS list is largely the following:

Tom Cruise (not playing with a full set of oars in the belfry)
Jim Carrey (I don't like his 'rubber face' comedies, loved Me, Myself & Irene and liked Liar, Liar)
Chris Farley (don't have to worry about new flics from him, I don't care for angry comedy)
David Spade
Hugh Grant (though I love Love Actually)
Paris Hilton and her ilk (famous for being famous) are on it, not that she's likely to make anything that I'll be interested in seeing.

I'm pretty flexible (or easy) when it comes to movies. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Jack Black, as I don't think I can name anything of his that I've seen aside from KFP and King Kong, but he's growing on me. Sandler? He was on my WNS list as he was constantly rehashing his angry hick character, or so it seemed to me. I still haven't seen Zohan yet, hope to see it this afternoon, but he seems to be moving away from that, and the idea intrigues me.

Yeah, I don't much care for Cruise, and I find myself generally disgusted by Farley and Hilton. It'd take a LOT to get me to see a movie one of them is in.

I have to agree that Sandler's kinda hit-or-miss. He's not on the permanently banned list for me yet, but he's definitely flagged for it.

Jack Black does rock. I'm surprised you didn't list High Fidelity as one of the ones you've seen. IMO, it's the best performance he's turned out to date. I'd very highly recommend it, as it's also one of John Cusack's best...again IMO.

I don't know that I've seen a lot of John Cusack, but for me, Grosse Point Blank wins as best, hands down. I've seen part of High Fidelity, but I've never seen it all the way through.

Grosse Point Blank was also really good. I would guess you'd also really like High Fidelity, especially as there's a bit more depth and humanity to his character.

Funny, I sure thought that was you sitting next to me in Nacho Libre. You have just lost all your rights to tease me for laughing at that movie.

Adam Sandler is still on my Not Likely To See list. So is Jack Nicholson, actually. I know he's a good actor and I have enjoyed some of his roles, but he just rubs me the wrong way or something.

Hmm... Pauly Shore. Queen Latifah (I can appreciate some of her music in small doses, but not her film and TV stuff). The Olsen twins.

Ah, quite true. I'd forgotten about Nacho Libre, maybe I should look for a copy while B&N has their sale going....

Yeah, Pauly Shore. Good call! I'm not sure that I've seen anything by him, though chances are that I probably have.
