Sort of. It was 124 years ago that the first gravity roller coaster opened on Coney Island. The article has a little history and some interesting bits of tid about the Matterhorn at Disneyland.

Sw33t. From this point forward, we get neat places like Cedar Point to thrill us and make us lose our lunches.

We did Cedar Point when we came back from our honeymoon. We rode every wood roller coaster and had an amazing time! The best thing was that everyone was in line for the latest and greatest, so we pretty much had zero wait.

Great times. I hope to do it again some time, we might go back in '12: I'm hoping they'll have a bicentennial celebration of the War of 1812 as one of the climactic battles was fought on Lake Erie where we honeymooned.

Ooh, you went on a good day, then. I've been on days where even the lesser, older ones have many-hour waits in line. Wood coasters and I don't always get along, especially if they tend to slam my hips into the side of the car. Despite that, Cedar Point really is a lot of fun, especially if you want to get thrilled out with all sorts of speed.

It was early June, so maybe got there before the summer season really started. We had a wait for the log ride, and it was a very hot day, but getting drenched was quite revitalizing.

Yeah, you probably got in during the early times, then. As the season goes on, things do get much worse for lines.
