Well, they logged 8 million downloads yesterday apparently. That's pretty cool, I downloaded it on two computers. I did not install it, and I'm glad, because....

THEY'VE DISCOVERED A VULNERABILITY! Everybody raise your hand if you're surprised. Funny, I don't see any hands.

It was discovered five hours after the download frenzy started. I'm a little intrigued that it wasn't caught during the open beta, but that's the way these things sometimes go.

Yeah but that article says the bugs been there since v 2.0

Ah, I didn't read enough to see that. That's twice in as many days, I must be getting old or something. ;-)

Still, I'm surprised it's gone unfixed since 2.0.

This has nothing to do with Firefox 3, because I didn't download it yet, but Firefox suddenly decided not to open on my computer today. At all. I am not happy.

Huh. That's kind of curious. I think there's a way to set a command line option to start it in 'safe mode' and bypass startup settings, that might help.
