Congress, including Republicans, didn't want this guy to be our UN ambassador. So Bush, as expected, waits for Congress to recess and appoints him. Of course, Bush also complains about The Judiciary creating laws through their interpretations, thus bypassing Congress and the normal law-making process. But it's OK for Bush to go ahead and slam home an appointment that people in his OWN PARTY did not want made. I won't even mention The Administration NOT releasing records about Bolton that were requested by the committee that was vetting him before passing him down to a floor vote.

My biggest problem with Bolton is this:

HIS MUSIC SUCKS!



And what qualifies Michael Bolton to be an ambassador? Sure, he's traveled around the world, that doesn't make him an expert in international relations.

Life just sucks some times.

It's rapidly becoming the hallmark of Bush's administration, pushing things through that weren't really wanted or well thought out by picking the right time and angle. Look at the war in Iraq or the Patriot Act or....

It's sad to think we're living in probably the lowest political point this country's ever had...
