thewayneI just saw a web page ad in LJ for Publisher's Clearing House that said "Win A Week For Life!"
WOW! Obviously they've invented a time machine and can give me back a week! My respect for their organizatio has soared, I had no idea that they had such an advanced science program! To semi-quote Weird Al, "...so I went back to last Tuesday so I could pay my phone bill on time."

Date: 2005-08-03 03:32 pm (UTC)Of course, the scary thing is another interpretation. You get stuck IN THE SAME WEEK for the rest of your life...a la Groundhog Day. I guess it depends on whether you get to pick the week and if you could stitch it together from lots of other events as long as it totals up to a week worth of time.
