The Border Patrol has essentially created a Constitution-Free ONE HUNDRED MILE BUFFER around the border of the United States.

Think about this for a minute.

Mexico. Canada. New York City. Heck, the entire state of New York. Most of California's population. Nine of the ten most populous cities in the country, excluding Dallas/Fort Worth, are in this zone. Two-thirds of the country's population is in this zone.

And in it, the Border Patrol can stop you with no suspicion of wrong-doing.

Not good.

Way not good. Although precisely the thing that someone would want to have if they were planning on say, trying to make a large part of that zone be a martial-lawed area by just claiming it was all for border security.
