thewayneI have moved to Cloudcroft. We picked up a 24' Budget truck Monday, loaded it through Wednesday, drove it up Wednesday night arriving Thursday around 6am, unloaded it Thursday and my brother drove it back, leaving around 2am Friday morning.
The house has paths to wend around. The library cannot be entered, it is filled to capacity with 703/banker's boxes. The living room has one servicable chair, frequently occupied by Celeste. I've gotten some bathroom stuff unpacked, my desktop computer is now set up (I played City of Heroes for about three hours or so last night!) and I have access to my clothes.
My back and neck and shoulder and wrists are so badly screwed up that I ain't doin' nuthin' right now. Taking it slowly, will start unpacking in more earnest probably Monday. Trying to arrange an hour-long massage, will probably have to find a chiropractor in Alamogordo who meets my standards a lot sooner than I'd hoped.
More shall follow, this definitely fell into the category of a FUBAR. But I am here, and that is the important stuff, especially if things go south with Russet's mother.
