As expected, Microsoft drops demand that terminated employees refund part of severance package

They say that only 25 people were affected. Speculation is all over the place on this one, there's no info as to how much the overpayment was.

I hadn't heard of the underpaid, perhaps that's why they dropped the request: if they have to justify the overpayment, the underpayment may come to light and they're out more money.
