Anyone ever write an iPhone app?

A friend suggested something, and I have to admit that it's been knocking around in the back of my mind for a while along with a couple of other ideas. So last night I signed up for the developer program and I'm downloading the SDK now (all 1.7 gig of it -- thank Cod for cable modem speeds!). If you have an idea, the SDK is free with registration and includes an iPhone simulator, so you don't have to actually own an iPhone or iPod Touch, but I'm sure you'd want to buy one for final testing.

And no, I'm not going to talk about what my app will do, for it shall make me richer than Croesus! (yeah, right)

I've played a little--- very little--- with Objective C and the OS X interface builder. I haven't been able to play with it much though.

I have the iPhone SDK on my computer, but I haven't played with that yet.
