Not a good month for fans of comics and science fiction.
Aaron is doing much better after a quadruple bypass, though he's still in ICU. They've created a community to post updates at http://community.livejournal.com/allston_info/.
Arneson is in hospice, and probably doesn't have much time left. He's had cancer, and it's become a bone infection. I don't have an authoritative source on his condition, but if you search for Dave Arneson Cancer, you'll get lots of hits.
Len Wein: I can't imagine how traumatic it would be to lose your house to a fire. I could rebuild my computer from backups mostly, but the loss of my negatives would be irreplaceable. Len lost so much more: his dog and lots of original artwork. http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2009_04_06.html#016921
I learned of all this nastiness via the Dork Tower web page and John Kovalic's blog at http://muskrat-john.livejournal.com/.
