What is IBM AI versus Jeopardy?

thewayneIBM, after proving that it can beat the world champion at chess (really not that impressive of a feat, and Kasparov brought it to a draw in a rematch), is taking on Jeopardy. The computer will not be connected to the internet and will receive the answer in both voice and text mode.
And the Jeopardy executive producer is considering inviting back Ken Jennings....
This should be very interesting. I don't watch game shows, and Jeopardy is the only one that I respect, but I will definitely try to watch this one.
