Remember when soda was made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup? Well, this summer PepsiCo is going to release Throwback versions of their sodas made with sugar, not HFCS. This apparently started over a week ago, so who knows what availability will be like. I'm going to take a look this afternoon.

There was a miniature golf course in Phoenix on Bethany Home just off the interstate that had the coldest soda machine I'd ever seen. It dispensed glass bottles, and the Mountain Dew was actually of a slushy consistency. Good times indeed.

Jones Soda has been made with cane sugar for a little over a year now.

Yeah, I try to buy it when I can find it on sale. I'm fond of their vanilla cream soda. Since we're about 50 miles from the border, we can get Mexican soda made with sugar without too much difficulty, but it's not quite the same as I remember it.
