Ooooh! I hadn't considered a cluebat assault! That could be a lot of fun, not to mention good physical exercise!

Precisely. And in a room like that, it would be something you would have to set up point-scoring systems for and everything - all those targets of varying levels of clueing-in needed.

Well, maybe. A lot of the foam weapons I'm used to did not have great construction, and thus fell apart after too many whackings. For a hit like this, it might be better to get yourself some SCA-standard weaponry. Might hurt a bit more to the receiving end, but it would pretty well assure you that you wouldn't have to stop to gather a new bat.
