You may have heard that today Verizon has announced that it's getting the iPhone next month. There's one significant difference, and therein lies my question: do you use voice and internet access at the same time? That apparently won't be possible under Verizon as it will be limited to their CDMA 3G network. I don't think it will be a big problem for me, just wanted your opinions.

Verizon's limitations pissed me off ages ago - I couldn't even download the pictures I took on my camera to my computer, I had to send them to their picture messaging website.

I don't blame AT&T for letting go of their exclusivity, though; iPhone users like to blame them for the phone's sluggishness, but grumbles from within AT&T imply that the iPhone is clogging up the network. I guess we'll see if suddenly everyone's talking about how crappy Verizon's is.

I don't normally use my phone to take pictures. When we switched to Verizon, we ended up with phones that had cameras along with full keyboards, they were having a two for one sale. We don't text message, but the full keyboard was very useful for entering phone book entries. I think it was the same day that we got the phones, we went to the Las Cruces renaissance faire and found some stuff to take pictures of! A short time thereafter, I was picking up my wife's meds at KMart and they had a 'today only' special selling micro SD cards for a ridiculously low price, so I bought one and used that to move the pix off my phone.

I'll just use iTunes Sync to move any pix off my future iPhone.
