I have to say that *has* always bothered me. I know the spirit in which it was written, and I don't agree on banning it (especially after a quarter of a century), but it still kinda gives me the willies. Now, if Knopfler WAS gay, he could get away with it, like black rap dudes using the n-word. You don't EVER hear Eminem using it, lol.

I'm a big Dire Straits fan, and this is definitely one of their weaker songs. My problem is that whenever I hear the opening chords, my mind immediately flashes to Weird Al Yanjovic's Beverly Hillbillies.
