I never knew my car's thermometer would display negative numbers

Until tonight. -4 on the way home. Our house thermometer is now saying -7.

My wife uses Pretty Effin' Cold, which I think is pretty accurate. It's been below zero all day long, haven't gone outside to tempt or test it.

It is that, most likely. Although I begin to wonder whether "effin' cold" indicates that one has tried to eff at those temperatures...
