The Epsilon hack? They knew about the attack vector over 4 months ago.

Apparently it was known in November and they first started getting hacked in December. It was a malware email that the payload link loaded malware that defeated antivirus and then dug deeper.

Now it's negligence rather than incompetence. I'm betting that the suit, should it come, will come with extra damages.

What I'm curious about, with Congresscritters beginning to ask questions, is how many Congresscritters are getting emails about THEIR email getting compromised....

Probably more than a few, or they wouldn't be so very hot to trot. Although that does make me wonder how many Congresscritters have had their work e-mails and their personal e-mails exposed, just waiting for someone to make a connection.
