I never had Legos as a kid

I had an Erector Set (Throw a towel over it! Do some push-ups, maybe it'll go away!) and I haven't really started buying Legos as an adult, though I do have a couple model sets. I've always been impressed by what people have created with Legos in terms of building computer cases out of them. One guy had a Mac laptop that the LCD display died on, but the external video was ok, so he peeled it out of the case, built a Lego case, and plugged in an external monitor and keyboard. Very cool. This Lego case is interesting. The builder is experienced at Lego cases and at computer construction, has some very good tech info.

Definitely not something that I could build, but I can still respect it.

That is cool! I had lots of Legos as a kid, but never made anything anywhere near that cool. Most of what I remember was making prisons for our hamsters/gerbil and playing "Escape From Mouscatraz" with them...

I'd be a bit worried about the heat issue, but overall that just rocks.
