Charles Stross: The Atrocity Archives

This is a really cool book. It's a series about a secret government organization in Britain whose job is to suppress technology that can summon Cthonic entities and stop such infestations if the technology gets in to the wild. It's a combination of spy games, information technology departments, government bureaucracies, and Call of Cthulhu.

VERY cool, much recommended. I'm picking up a couple more in the series tomorrow since I've finished the first.

I don't recall if you are a gamer, but there is a Laundry RPG using an updated version of Call of Cthulhu mechanics. I got a chance to play it Friday night and had a blast.
