The bankruptcy court allowed IBM to present counterclaims to SCO's lawsuit and apparently this is IBM trying to unsully its name. I personally don't see much of a point to it since SCO's attempts to sue the universe resulted in epic fail, but IBM does have a lot of lawyers, and I guess they need to occasionally be let out of their cages for some exercise.
One of the stipulations is that IBM cannot press for damages, so there's no money, aside from lawyer and court fees, involved.
