Sky Deutschland considering using bone conduction to force ads upon passengers

Basically the train riders, if they rested their head on the aluminum wall/frame, they'll get an advert beamed directly into their head. If they do this, and you need to ride their trains, get a 14" square sheet of quarter inch rubber to use as a head rest.

Life resembles the worst parts of Minority Report some times...also, if that's beaming through the car...I wonder whether it's hackable. Lay your head down and get a manifesto...or the soundtrack to a porn...

That would be so awesome! Yeah, it would probably be hackable. That would be so funny!

They're talking about iris readers that can read you from many tens of yards away. They don't talk about the studies that show that your iris is not a constant like a fingerprint, it changes over time and eventually doesn't match what was originally scanned. I think I'll be wearing polarized sunglasses if something like that were ever to happen.

So we're up to polarized sunglasses, IR LEDs in the clothes, some form of audio scrambler and gait modifier, as well as having to secure things through TOR or other anonymizing services. Gods, privacy is so much work these days.
