Did you hear about Adobe getting hacked?

thewayneIt happened early this month and the crooks got a lot of good stuff: 38 million user accounts with hashed passwords and what appears to be the source code to Photoshop. Not a bad day's work, or however long it took them. And a lot of the user accounts contained credit card information! Yay! So if you've EVER bought a product directly from Adobe, particularly using a credit card that is still live, you might have an issue.
But not to worry! Adobe is offering to pay for a year of credit monitoring for you! There's only one slight problem: it's through Experian. The same people who sold the information needed to open credit in your name to criminals in Vietnam.
I think all of the Adobe products that I've bought recently I did through Amazon.
