Ignoring people too poor to own reliable cars or afford long-distance transport or have the papers to get them past Border Patrol checkpoints. I have two doctors who are 100 miles or more from our house, and I don't have much of a choice if I want good medical care. If I had to go to Albuquerque or Lubbock, it would probably give me pause, especially since I don't have a Texas passport. ;-)
What I really hate about a lot of these politicians is the hypocrisy. I'm not talking about Abbott specifically here as I haven't heard anything specific, but for example, the pro-life doctor who encouraged his wife to have two abortions, one or two of his mistresses to have abortions, and slept with several other patients. And he has an excellent chance of being re-elected.
There's an old joke: If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a holy sacrament.
