A couple of excerpts from the CIA torture report

I draw the line at DON'T TORTURE.

The thing that I really hate about Dick Cheney is that there's one thing that I like about him: he accepted his gay daughter. Oh, well. Let's go for the full Godwin: I guess Hitler was kind to his mother.

It's difficult to paint someone as a complete monster when they do good things occasionally.

That said, the more we learn, the more I wish someone would arrest all of them and send them to the Hague to stand trial for what they authorized and ordered.

I need to seek out that widely publicised story back in the early days of the second great Iraqi escapade, where a couple folks who'd been trapped in Saddam Hussein's torture chambers were brought to Shrub in the White House. He apparently shed a tear over the inhuman treatment they'd been subject to, at the hands of this monster.

As I recall, the encounter was used to bolster support for the second invasion, but I could be misremembering.
