The ignorance of people who will willfully ignore a preponderance of science is to me outrageous. Gee, snow in DC in early March. Yup, definite proof that global climate change is not real.

That's the thing with people like Inhofe - they're not skeptics, they're deniers. No amount of evidence will change their belief, as it's one that's grounded in money, power, and religion. And probably a good dose of ignorance, too. (Curiously, their standards for evidence when it comes to religion drop markedly)

Not unlike the woman who submitted the bill to destroy the FCC's net neutrality ruling: they looked up how much money that she got from AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, etc., and it was much greater than zero. It's all The Golden Rule: those with the gold make the rules.
