I've posted some pix at my web site, WayneWestPhotography.com. We got in to Prague today and the hotel, which is VERY high end, has free WiFi which we didn't have in Berlin. My Chromebook doesn't have Photoshop, so these are unaltered JPEGs. I plan on doing some Photoshopping when I get home, and I'll fiddle with the Chromebook editor soon as I just did some night shots out the hotel window that I want to stitch and see how they come out: we're on the 21st floor and have a great view, also our ears pop in the elevator coming up! We've lived at 9,000' for so long that it's weird being at about 200' then rushing up in an elevator.

Getting in to my Yahoo account was a little tricky. They said 'What the hell are you doing in Prague?! REATHENTICATE!' But they wanted to send me a text or a message to my Gmail account. Well, my phone won't work until we get back to Newark in 12 days or so. So I have them send a message to my Gmail account. IT won't let me in! It never questioned me in Germany, but they don't like Prague! Fortunately it has an authentication method where you can enter your authenticating phone number, so I eventually get in.

I will get some pix up here, it's taken me four days before I could get them up on FB and my web site because of limited bandwidth in Berlin.

Very nice, looks like a good time so far! :) I dig the artwork, that statue reaching up especially. And the graffiti. Hell, all of it. :)

I really liked that piece of graphitti, both the kid and the little green panda monster in the upper right. I just wish my Chromebook had a decent editor. I don't need much -- crop and rotate would do.

Shot A LOT today at castles and the Old Quarter, including the astronomical clock, which should more accurately be known as the astrological clock. I'll be posting more in a few hours, it's 17:30 here.

Ah! I must take a nose around your site, then. ^_^

Has the culinary side of things been equally memorable?

Authentication's at least one side of things I've been fine with with Gmail - my MBP/PB of the time just keeps on pulling new email from the accounts, wherever I am. Speaking of which, I otter go polish the passwords sometime - think it's been a while. Maybe I'll set Mail up on the phone as well, at last - it's just when I'm on the move, I'll almost always have the iPad with me.

How did you find Berlin? The roomie's just coming back today from a few days there. (Never been, yet - almost did, once or twice, but that was back when we'd've needed visas to drive there)

9,000'! Hoo. I recall going up the Jungfraujoch once - the station at the top of the funicular is 13,333' - the pressure was 660mb. =:D You definitely noticed the difference.. not for nothing were there signs everywhere advising people not to run. ^_^;

Yahoo/Gmail authentication wasn't a problem in Berlin, but they didn't like me being in Prague. I found that interesting. Though my phone didn't have a data connection, when I connected it and my iPad through the hotel WiFi they had no problem, it was just my Chromebook. I love having email on my phone: I monitor 10 accounts! My desktop and laptop typically just have my two main accounts open, likewise my iPad.

Yeah, our home in the Lincoln National Forest is around 8800', and the observatory is at 9200'. I've been higher than that without an airplane, but not much further. I don't think I've topped 10k, AND I'VE NEVER BEEN ON A FURNICULAR! That's one of those things that I really want to do at some time in my life.

We loved Berlin and look forward to another 3 days there next week before we head home!
