thewayneThis is a list of 50 quotes from Sir Terry Pratchett, perhaps my favorite author, who passed away six months ago this week. I picked up his new book Saturday, I didn't know it was a Tiffany Aching/Wee Free Men book. I quite look forward to starting it today, at the same time I'm depressed that there will be no more. I totally respect his family's decision to not allow more to be written, but still it saddens me. At least he left behind a HUGE volume of work for us to enjoy.
I had the pleasure and honor of meeting him at a Discworld convention in Tempe in 2010(?). Really nice guy and I got a I have a signed hardback of Good Omens somewhere here. I wonder if I could get Neil Gaiman to sign it if I mailed it to him.
