Sadly, this is precisely the condition of the Republican party now - stuffed to the gunwails with charlatans that make the regular politico slime seem honorable. They'll lie their face off, with no regard for facts, and then attack, should anyone dare to pick them up on their warped fantasy. The entire clown car is a sight to behold.

I've come to two conclusions about the RNC and Fox Newts. First, the unwritten motto of the RNC is "I've got mine, screw you." And I think that Fox would like to see the Dems win because then they have something to rail against for 4 or 8 more years.

The current lineup of RNC candidates are frightening. I read an article that said that the nomination of Sarah Palin for veep is what opened the door for all these nutbags to run, the ascension of the Tea Baggers is another problem, but they are somewhat on the decline right now.
