Also known as my parent's front yard when we irrigate. Canon 6D, 75-300 lens hand held at 300mm and f5.6 1/350th. I think it's kind of cool how their shadow lets you see the grass beneath the water.
Time to get playing with the CPL! Very pleased I got mine, though admittedly, it hasn't seen a lot of use lately, between dull weather and the leporine imperative. =:)
Well, here's a story. I have a CPL (slightly inaccurate statement to be explained later), but it's 77mm. When I got my 6D, my 'kit' lens is a 24-105 with a 77mm mount. I bought two filters with the package, a UV and a CPL. The 75-300 that I used (not 100-300 as posted), is the older 58mm variety.
So to verify the size just now, I went back in to my bedroom and opened the kit. Sure enough, 77mm. But also in the kit were some 58mm, and one was a CPL.
:-)
We'll get irrigation again in another two weeks, and I'll try to remember to play with it. As a rule, my use for a CPL is on cloudy days, I do very little/zero water shots where I live because there's zero/little running water.
