Oh, noes! The Cheetoh Benito thinks Obama tapped his phones during the election!

The Orange One went on a Twitter tear this morning claiming that President Obama tapped the phone at Trump Tower last year. And offered zero evidence to back up this claim. Does that make this slander? Apparently there was an article on Breitbart saying that some talk radio whacko has put this forth. So I'm sure it's absolutely accurate and not fake newts.

I wonder if the Russian allegations are getting a little too hot for him and he feels the need to try to divert attention.

Those ICE sweeps are pretty horrible, taking someone with brain cancer out of their hospital bed?  Give me a break!  So much of the vile rhetoric that he spews is so inaccurate that it's repulsive, I don't see how a political party can operate on lies, but it seems to work.

I'm an unemployed IT worker, been out of work for going on nine months now.  I can't blame my personal position on H1B, the area that we live in has very little IT, i.e. few large businesses, and I can't relocate and telecommuting isn't really viable for me, though I may have to reconsider that position.  Even the government orgs in the area are pretty small, the largest single employer is the local hospital.  Part of my problem is (A) I'm a Microsoft SQL Server guy instead of Oracle: Oracle would get me on the local Air Force base in a trice, and (B) I've worked on strength of skill alone without a Bachelor's degree for over 30 years.  What tech companies have done with H1B is pretty appalling, such as Disney (among many others) making their IT people train their replacements.  The University of California in San Jose recently dumped their IT workers for India off-shoring.  I really hope this proposed $100,000 minimum salary for H1Bs will make companies take a series look at how they treat their workers. But personally, I think it boils down to greed.  Wall Street pushes companies for quarterly profits over long-term stability, managers see cutting budgets as showing that they're effective, and little thought is given to the middle and lower class jobs which provide major stability for a country.  I foresaw the death of the middle class in the mid '80s when I was working for a pension plan company and saw the companies switching from defined benefit to defined contribution plans. Maybe the country will muddle through, I don't know.  I expect we'll be in Chile (telescope density for astronomer wife) within the next 5-10 years.
