It is truly one heck of a deal. Work by Asimov, Bradbury, Ellison, Clarke, Zelazny, and many more. You can spend as little as a dollar and get eight books, but if you pay the full $20, you get FORTY ebooks, and anyone can pick up a free app with 31 short story by the 2016 Nebula nominees.
The sale is available for another 13 days. A portion of sales go to the SFWA Givers Fund, but you can also select from a list of charities.
You can't beat that with a stick! You can't. It's a web site, it's an HTML text file, it's just ones and zeroes. Well, you could beat your computer with a stick, but where would that get you? You'd end up with a broken computer, and that doesn't help anyone.

Date: 2017-05-12 01:54 pm (UTC)I'm a big Humble Bundle fan, but mostly for the games--they're no small part of the reason why my Steam library is so ridiculous. The book bundles are nice too, might have to check that one out!

Date: 2017-05-12 04:34 pm (UTC)Heh. My brain sometimes goes in strange directions. Oddly, I mostly buy Humble's book bundles. I think the only game bundle that I bought was a Sid Meier's collection. All told, in five years, I've bought 34 bundles from them for 671(!) books! I do not want to think about how many of those I have not read. If it has at least three or four books that I'm interested in, then I think it's a good deal ebook-wise and I'll buy it. I'll usually get around to other books in that collection later. The book bundles that I totally skip now are the comic bundles: they take lots of space and I'm just not interested in. The exception to that is the Banned Books bundles, those I will consistently buy
