Surprise! Marvel & Sony reconcile, Spidey will be in future MCU movies

Such relief. I was on tenterhooks waiting for them to reconcile. I couldn't sleep. My blood pressure was through the roof.

Oh, wait. None of that was true.

They reconciled to make another bajillion dollars. Spidey will do another two Spider-Man movies and appear in at least one more MCU title, most likely an Avengers movie. Next Spidey movie in the Homecoming series will be July 2021.

When I posted about the breakup originally on August 21, I said "I expect there will be a reconciliation. After all, Spider-Man drifted in and out of the Avengers over the years. And there's just too much money for both Sony and The Giant Rat for them not to reach a mutually satisfying agreement."

HOW COULD I HAVE BEEN SO WRONG! /s

“tenterhooks” *snicker* whereas I’m fairly certain I’ve heard the term, I don’t think I’ve seen that in print!

I have a fully-loaded, though perhaps a touch archaic, vocabulary and I’m not afraid to use it!

Oh, well, then. Clearly their spat couldn't be fixed with anything less than trainloads of money for all involved.

I didn't inform my wife of this reconciliation, she mentioned it this morning after I came back from An Unpleasant Duty which I shall post about later (no serious or fatal injuries involved), and I mentioned they reconciled over buttloads of money. She suggested that parents might reconcile if the buttloads of money were vested in children. I thought it an interesting concept.
