Russia is apparently dealing with a small defenestration crisis to go along with its pandemic problems: Three frontline health care workers have mysteriously fallen out of hospital windows in Russia over the past two weeks:

Shulepov was hospitalized for coronavirus on April 22, the same day he and his colleague Alexander Kosyakin posted a video online saying that Shulepov had been forced to continue working after testing positive for coronavirus.

It is rare for doctors to fall from windows in Russia, but Shulepov was the third health worker to fall out of a window in the country in the past two weeks.

I have read about this new symptom of defenestration being a symptom of COVID heretofore unknown. One such case was a paramedic who survived: apparently the virus threw him out of a secon story window and didn’t know that he had a better chance of living through it.
