Well, she has a very large church following her, in Texas, IIRC.  Not that I'm going to comment on Texas (second highest growth of COVID infection along with Florida, I believe?). The news will report on her because she guarantees ratings and clicks because of such ridiculous stupidity.

There's a word that describes the feeling I'm having about this, which is approximately, "at least they're consistent in a world of hypocrisy." Respect is the wrong word, because nothing in that position is worthy of respect or any other positive feeling, but I want to at least acknowledge the consistency.
