You're standed on a desert island and you were only able to rescue a dozen DVDs (a dozen because the layout for ten looks stupid). Fortunately your DVD player and TV can be solar-powered. What movies would you take?

well you want variety if you've only got a couple. barbwire worked for me on so many different levels... and it would be good to compare and contrast with casablanca which is why they're both in there. i had it on video when i was still living in australia and had easily watched it over ten times. :)

mr nice guy is the only one on your list that i haven't seen... and i loved galaxy quest.

Mr. Nice Guy, In My Ever So Humble Opinion, is one of the best Jackie Chan flicks ever for several reasons: it was filmed in Melbourne and NSW, it was directed by Sammo Hung (sadly there's not a huge amount of 'inter-production', for want of a better term, between Jackie and Sammo), and I think it has one of the better stories. Oh, and it has THE BEST EVAH monster truck scene!

Definitely check it out!

(oh, and Sammo does a cameo appearance)
