thewayneHolmes, 39 years old, the convicted fraudsterfounder of Theranos, is serving an eleven year sentence for her fraud. She claimed her technology could take a small drop of blood and perform "hundreds" of blood tests for quite a variety of conditions.
It didn't.
In addition to her prison term, she has also been ordered to pay back FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY-TWO MILLION DOLLARS in restitution! That's going to be a lot of pizza deliveries when she gets out!
She has now been banned by the Department of Health and Human Services from ever participating in Medicare, Medicade, and any other health programs funded by the Feds.
But only for 90 years.
Maybe she can come up with some pretty clever life-extension tech that will let her outrun the ban.
