Dems take WI Supreme Court seat, defying Leon Muskbrat's millions spent!

Ah, love the smell of techbro's petulance. While the Republicans took the seat in Florida, which was the other major election Tuesday, that one was unlikely to flip, though it was a possibility. The Wisconsin seat maintains the balance of power in WI, at least it will make gerrymandering more difficult for the R's and gives the Dems a bit of hope for the next election cycle.

Leon spent over $20 mil in the state to sway the election, most likely breaking election laws, but apparently no one is concerned about such things unless Dems were to attempt it.

I expect it was a very large part of that 10% victory.  I imagine he was very successful at getting out the Democratic - and perhaps the disenfranchised MAGA - vote.

They will no doubt use this as an example of why democracy can't be used in this country any more, because sometimes the people elect someone who's good for them, rather than who their betters have decided is good for them. I would be more than happy to have the Tesla owner continue to burn his money trying to do things that he will fail at politically if I wasn't also concerned that after enough losses, there will be declarations that it's not possible for liberals to win any election at all, and they'll find whatever excuse they can use to enforce this.

Sadly, a quarter of a percent of 380 isn't really noticeable to Leon.  I do find it amusing that he thinks the 5 million+ people out protesting yesterday were all paid actors.
