Possibly one of the easiest sandwiches to make. Take a slice of cheese, take a deli slice of meat, wrap the meat around the cheese and eat. Zero carbs, VERY tasty flavors since they aren't absorbed or diluted by bread or shmear.

I was pretty hungry last night when I was getting ready for bed at 2am, ate three of those puppies, quite content.

I've eaten these for awhile, off and on. My only gripe is you end up getting a lot of calories to fill you, compared to a simple sandwich. For example, your three would be something like: 6 slices of cheese 480-600, meat 300-600, compared to 1 slice cheese 80-100, meat 100-200, bread 200, shmear probably 100. T= 700-1200 vs 480-600.) *sigh* You can tell I've spent 'waaaay too much of my life dieting.

Actually, the meat was rated at 70 calories for 3 slices. Off-hand, I don't know what the cheese was.

Ah, I take it that it must've been the paperthin deli slices? I was thinking of the Oscar Mayer-sized balogna slices (even if, in my case, it's usually turkey). Those run 60-100 per slice, iirc. Cheese is 100 cal/oz almost across the board, though if you're talking the Kraft American cheese slices (or equiv), I think those are 60, not being a full oz.
