Death on Four Legs struck again yesterday after Russet left for work. When I got home at around 11pm, I noticed a paper towel in the floor, indicative that a Certain Poodle Princess had been scrounging again, but I couldn't find any evidence or destruction elsewhere. So I threw away said paper towel and ultimately went to bed.

Fast-forward to 6am. Russet gets home, and immediately spots a former jar of peanut butter under the table.

At least it was a Jiff Premium that had zero artificial ingredients.

Well, there's artificial ingredients, and then there's a couple caseloads of sugar and salt perhaps, no? (I'm a Laura Scudders girl: nothing but peanuts.) Not so good for little doggies in any case. Was the jar, at least, mostly empty *before* she got into it??

Simply Jif has added oils (soy and rape seed), but sugar and salt are the last two ingredients. She's got a fairly iron constitution, we haven't seen anything disturb it yet.
