I just watched a deer walk through our front "yard"!

Russ was on a phone conference, sitting at the dining table and started snapping her fingers, pointing out the window. And there it was. It was fairly young, maybe a couple of years, small rack of antlers. Unfortunately my camera is in my car.

I love it up here!

I haven't seen any deer at our place. When I lived in Tarzana, CA though, we had deer eating in our backyard. They seemed to like the pyrocantha. We do have racoons that visit our pond at night. They really make a mess of things.
