NaNoWriMo Update

thewayneWell, the words started flowing better for me, I've gotten my main character introduced and on to the station, I've introduced two other characters and I've started describing the station. I'll be starting telling stories today, and starting with the main plot probably tomorrow. I wrote about 1500 words yesterday, so I'm still way behind the 2000 words/day curve but I think I'll be catching up soon.
And for those who are truly bored, I've posted what I've written in my NaNo profile, that section is limited to 10k words, so no telling how long it'll be current. And yes, it really drags in the beginning. It was a pain in the butt to write, but it's flowing better now. And now my laptop is pretty much done with updates and such, so I won't have to spend as much time tweaking it. And I've played less than 2 hours of Warcraft since 11/1, so I don't think that'll be too much of a problem.

Date: 2006-11-05 12:58 am (UTC)No, mine's not Under Siege. It's going to be a collection of short stories based in Van Kull Station. We started developing for it back in '94, and the SciFi gaming market was kind of inert at that point so we never continued it. I'm using what I wrote for the project.
