I think she can, or at least could, but Food Network has decided that she should be the next Martha Stewart. I enjoyed her $40 a Day as a travelogue, and I liked her Thanksgiving in 60 Minutes, didn't much care for her shows otherwise: too frenetic. I'm an Alton Brown fan (AND I HAVEN'T SEEN GOOD EATS IN THREE MONTHS!) and that'll probably never change.
