SPOILERS BENEATH!
(including a spoiler for the Order of the Phoenix movie)
In reply to a comment by Vaudy: My only problem with Umbridge (in the Order of the Phoenix movie) was look. She had the character down pat, I just wished she looked perhaps slightly more malevolent. I'm really looking forward to her being in the Deathly Hallows movie, but thinking about it a little more, I think they could easily cut the Ministry sequence without too much loss of story. In fact, thinking back to the earlier books in the series, it makes me wonder if perhaps Rowling put the Ministry chapter in DH so that it could be easily cut for time in the movie. What I'm wondering is if you went back and read the books then watched the movies back-to-back, if she might have developed "easily excised" chapters to make it easier on the movie directors/producers.
One thing that I straight nailed in Deathly Hollows was Olivander. As soon as they said that he'd disappeared in Half-Blood Prince, I knew it was the Death Eaters that got him for two reasons. First, to supply Voldy's minions with wands as it could be assumed that they would have some need for replacements as the war continued. Second, to deny Olivander as a resource to Dumbledor's Army/Order of the Phoenix. Securing supply lines is always a critical factor in any military operation.
One thing that really disappointed me about the Order of the Phoenix movie was Ron & Hermione not becoming Prefects and Harry not becoming Quidditch captain. Obviously they didn't have enough time for Quidditch, I'm hoping that there might be enough time in the next movie.
